I remember some time back on some posts/thread, now undoubtedly eliminated with the many hundreds of shared thoughts that were here, when Dallas and I and a few others imagined out loud what Heaven would be like. Those are some special times that we likely don’t even get to share with family and friends nearby. Dallas is not alone. For if she is so close to these hearts of those who she’s not met in person yet, then all the more is she watched by the angels in their presence and God in His keeping of her. I remember telling her that we can know much about ourselves by those things that preoccupy our imaginations and that God intended for us to use those imaginations to daydream about Him, His Kingdom and His future for us. Since we belong to Him entirely, it is a foretelling and a comfort. A truer reality than we’re experiencing here and now. Blessings, blessings upon blessings to you Dallas. :dove:

Thank you for the update from Tilly :blush::two_hearts:!

I know Dallas and this major life style adjustment isn’t going to be a walk in the park. I feel for her :face_holding_back_tears::broken_heart:. Being in the hospital, I’m sure, was enough of a life-changer and now this. It’s a lot y’all but she is one, tough cookie :wink::muscle:. I know God hasn’t or isn’t going to waste this “valley.” I trust and have faith that He will use her wherever she is planted to accomplish His divine purpose :potted_plant::blush::potted_plant::raised_hands::potted_plant::yellow_heart::potted_plant:.

I’m wondering if she has her computer with her now. It was her LIFELINE! If not, if her family could buy her a cell phone so she can carry on as usual would be nice. She needs as much of her life back, as it was in her apartment, in this new place.

I miss her…our conversations that ran the gamut from our faith, our families, personal things and A LOT of humor and snarkiness :grin:.

We shared a lot of laugher & tears together and I’d like to have her back :disappointed::heart:.

Girl, you’ve read my mind—maybe many of our minds—regarding Dallas benefitting from having that lifeline back in her life. Considering what adaptive devices she may need, even so, it would do her a world of good to have her favorite links back at her fingertips. :pray:

Dallas is a hermit, like me :grin:, who enjoys that type of lifestyle and her privacy. Her only communication was through her computer; our private messages on this forum, keeping up with the general forum/forum members here, her email, etc. She also watched various programs, listened to music, and enjoyed all things faith-based, etc. It would be a shame to not have it all back.

Hoping to perk up Dallas’ “dorm room” with some cheer. Just sent these off to her. She can express herself, squeeze off some stress, manipulate the magnets, and hug the pillow.

We’re almost there . Jesus will soon blow the trumpet and we will be caught in the air . It will be nice to meet my JD family in heaven . I hope you get stronger and soon can post with your friends . Praying for you .

I hope there’s sunshine rays in your room, i pray you feel Heaven’s light and love in your dorm room. :yellow_heart:

We can’t help it that people around us are wrapped up in the things of this world and the darkness. We must love them and minister to them. But we cannot be partakers with them. Visualize yourself today wrapped in a blanket of light! You’ll be a saint in sunshine.
