God Binds and Blinds Lost Souls
Matthew 13:13-15 (KJV) Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Isn’t it sad that the truth of God was before them, and they could not see it or hear it with shuttered ears? But, indeed, you know that God inspired men to pen His Word in a way that even youngsters can comprehend His message. But unfortunately, there is nothing in the way but shuttered ears and hardened hearts.
God’s “bottom shelf” message is meant for all souls to drink in and apply to their life. However, as God mentions in this scripture, some cannot hear and comprehend it because they are too busy paying attention to what others think or say and do in this corrupt world. Therefore, muting God’s message and listening to alternative reality works to confuse and confound lost souls. The devil’s brand of chaos riddles minds and fills souls with unsoundness, and this spiritual friction is meant to bind lost souls in sin and load them with shame.
Yes, indeed, God desires to shine the light of truth amongst all humanity through His chosen ancient writers. However, satan wants to bind and blind whoever will listen, ignoring the simple message God gave for healing humble souls.
