Topical Teaching on the unique difference of how the world views love vs the love of the true and living God. This topic will also discuss the impossibility of having and enjoying true love, without knowing the God of love.

Hi all… I totally get it that God loves me as a human being (John 3:16 etc), but where I struggle is does God love me as a person, as an individual. I get it that God is love. Love doesn’t only just describe God, but it is His essence. I know some people get to see God’s love in their lives, but what about the rest of us? I just need to have faith that God loves me? I need to hope that God loves me, even though I see no evidence of it? I’m only posting this here because I hope for real answers or prayers. I am struggling with this.

I am really a nobody but I think I know what you are going through. I spent my whole life thinking no one loved me. When I met Jesus, I sort of thought he ‘had’ to love me (if you know what I mean).
One day, I believe God showed me how much he loved me. I was writing to someone else and God spoke to me through my own writing. I will share what I remember with you in the hopes that maybe you can make it your own.
I’ll give you my own words based on some of Psalm 139:14-18

God knew me before I was even born. He scheduled each day of my life and recorded them in His book. He chose me before the foundation of the earth. He loved me, an individual. I am His special creation.
No other person on earth has ever experienced the things I have experienced. No other person has felt the feelings that I feel. No other person has seen the sights, smelled the smells, tasted the tastes that I have. I am a totally unique and individual person and someone that God wanted to know and love. He made me for himself to love. No one is like me. Even if I was a twin, I would still be unique in every way.
God knew from the beginning that this very day, I would be writing to you and it is recorded in His book. He knew that you needed to know and he may be using me to speak to you. I don’t know, but I do know that God loves you as a totally unique individual.
Even if you could tell me all about yourself from start to finish, there is that person inside of you that no one else knows - but God knows you, inside and out. He knows what your are thinking at this very moment. He knows what you think even before you do. He cares. He really does.
I kept looking for the big ‘proofs’ that God loved me as an individual. I found that love in all the little proofs that are all around me constantly. How even ideas I get are often times from God. There are so many ways he shows me His love daily - if I am looking for them.
Anyway, I am going on way too long. I hope that might help in some small way and I will be praying that you will experience that love from God that you, as an individual need.

These are encouraging words from a great group of people… I was a bit hesitant to post anything but I am glad I actually did. The scripture provided really hit home, especially Psalm 40… I’m older than I like to admit, and the cry of my prayer has been going for years. Now I am questioning if I have actually been patient and looking for those times God has stepped in to help me in my need. I know He has, but I need to remember and praise Him for those times.

You are totally right. In my flesh, I am a nobody but in HIM I am a KIng’s Kid.

I got bullied a lot in school because I was the “new kid” and therefore an easy target. I started believing what they were saying about me and, even after being saved and baptized, those scars remained.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It’s hard when those wounds keep opening, but God.

Hi ,
I was 27 when god spoke to me I was holding
my daughter and saying to her I love you so
much and I am going to protect and love you .
I was so in love with my daughter and God
told me , “You see how much you love her , I love you more .” I opened my eyes for the first time and understood what love was and I held my daughter up to God and asked him "who are you , I want to know you " I had no idea who Jesus Christ was . I asked him to show me who he was . I never told anyone about my experience . In fact , I was terrified of God . I tried to hide my pregnancy from him
thinking if I did not pray he would not know I was pregnant . Crazy to think the lies satan told me . I was terrified to pray . To think I could hide my pregnancy for him !!! But God , He had a divine appointment with me and whisper his sweet words , " I love you Rebecca your my child " . I had a secret relationship with him and would talk to him and he was part of my daily life for months . We moved out of state and a pastor came to my home and told me who God was . He explained that Jesus died for me and I was saved through his blood on the cross . I asked Jesus into my heart that day . I Got baptized and the rest is history . Jesus knows us and knows everything . Divine Love that he lay
his life down for me so I could be with him for eternity . All my sins wiped away . He came to me to tell me how much he loved me . I still tear up when I think of Jesus divine love .

Oh Becky, that is so beautiful. It gave me ‘chicken skin’ as J.D. says. (‘God bumps’)
Isn’t it amazing how God can speak to us through our children?
Many times it seemed like God was teaching me about His love, through the way I would love my daughters. The love for them would seem so overwhelming at times I could hardly contain it.
Yet, God’s love will be so much more than we can even imagine or comprehend.
This side of heaven, our human bodies could not contain or deal with that kind of love.
Soon and very soon we will experience the full, immense, wonderful force of it. I can hardly wait.

Dear most blessed sister, I so appreciate this sermon. I have heard it now for the 3rd time. Indeed, how great a love :slight_smile: Thanks so much for sharing this. I was/am very blessed. God will never say “I don’t care.” So wonderfully put. What this calls me back to is Hebrews 8:9:

Hebrews 8:9 Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers. On the day when I took them by the hand. To lead them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in My covenant, And I did not care for them, says the Lord.

In however that long lasting relationship with the Jews over hundreds of years had its troubled spots in that covenant, we share a newer and better covenant for which it is utterly true about His most profound and inner character…that we will not hear from Him: “I don’t care.” Beautiful and wonderful is our God…amen. Very touched by this. And thanks again for sharing.

I don’t know if you have caught Andy Woods from time to time, but lately I have been watching him too and he is saying things I had not heard in the church for 30 years. I am amazed by his positions. I have never found a pastor that I have agreed with 100% all across the board (for we are all different people). But Woods has struck some rather profound chords with me as well. If you had not had the chance and might find room to discover, he did a 14 part series on “Ever Reforming,” that was really helpful to me…I came out of the reformation movement and did not know much about these things…lol. Kind of strange :frowning: In any case, thanks again so much for sharing this lovely sister. Blessings.

I also watch John haller he is really good and compiles news and talks about the events
taking place . Lots happening in the world today keeps me busy reading news events .

Thanks Becky…checking it out the recent July 2021 video now. At the 32 minute marker, I found it kind of cute that Andy mentioned that the globalists had to get rid of Trump because American government is the hardest (in her prosperity) to convert over to one world governance. I just find that to adorable. :slight_smile: But what was interesting too to hear is the previous part on inalienable rights. What is interesting about that is I don’t think we really have a solid sense of what that means coming from God as he established governments to protect that after the flood. I remember in my reformation church that having rights before God was really not a thing. We deserve hell, and claiming our rights would be seen as sinful. I understand what they are getting at but it still kind of had the church (in place of government) informing us of what our rights look like. And although being in Christ means we defer to our brother but it just struck me as to how that sort of thinking tyrannical governments are about can to some degree leak into the governance of the church. Plus the pastor was from England. So it makes sense :relaxed:

Yes it is interesting to see our constitution
showing us that we broke from the British
Crown because we believed we have
inalienable rights that are from God and not government. The Declaration of
Independence In congress July 4 1776 . We were thirteen states at the time . It also proceeds to say in he letter that the present
king of Great Britain "is a history of repeated
injuries and usurpations , all having , in direct
object , the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states . To prove this , lets
face the facts be submitted to the candid
world ". It goes on to state the offenses .
It states in the ending statements , " for the
support of this declaration , with a firm
reliance on the protection of Divine
Providence , we mutually pledge to each other
our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor "
They believed America had divine protection .
I find it very interesting that they do not teach that in college . Keep watching the series it gets more interesting . I enjoyed my political science professor because he was a christian and taught that America was founded by christian principles . He also pointed out that our constitution was being assaulted . I was in the time when Same S@x marriage was being
introduced and we wrote papers regarding the
slippery slope of what could happen . They were also taking down the ten commandments
from the government buildings because one or two individuals were atheist and felt his rights
was be assaulted . All of the things we talked and debated in class has unfortunately come to pass . I was fortunate to have a christian
professor who understood the christian values
and taught why our constitution was based
on christian standards . However , our
constitution has allowed the government to
imply that our rights are from government which in retrospect we are living in tyranny .
It is sad and you cannot go back . C@vid

the people . We are living in a time that we can still read and make decisions for ourselves. Soon the government NWO will be
the new dictators !!! We used to back Israel
sovereignty . The Abrahamic Accords is a
two state solution . We are now allowing

to control the narrative . Propaganda is all
we hear and see on tv . I appreciate Andy woods and John Haller both are attorney . They really hit at the core of what is happening in our country and around the world . B@den
signed on to the climate change ( treaty ) you need 3/4 vote in congress , yet he did that
with the stroke of the pen . I can say without
a doubt we are no longer a republican nation .
We are fighting the tyranny but will eventually
fall into place . If you look at the financial index , it makes no sense the stock market
should be booming !!! It is being crafted to make us believe all is well . We will see a crash soon . I have seen 3 crashes in my lifetime and it looks like this . I may sound
doom and gloom but this is the reality . Keep your eye on Jesus . Remember , our worldly
goods will perish but the treasures we build in heaven will not perish . I am so much older
then you so I have experienced so much more
and have seen our inalienable rights chipped
away little by little . Thats why people are not getting it and are being taught to think collectively . They started that when my kids were in school . Projects were shared and all were responsible for doing their part . My son
used to get so frustrated because he ended up doing all the work in order to get a good grade.
In a sense thats what socialism is , some work
hard and others will reap the success of the hard workers . I have traveled and lived amongst socialism for a period of time and have seen the sad effects on the society .
America is still fighting government tyranny but
we are know from what the bible says their will
be a one world government in the tribulation
period . So we have our blessed hope of the
rapture . But keep in mind that our citizenship is in heaven and not in the USA . When we do
collapse if were still here on earth it will not sting as bad because we know in advance this
country is perishing . Keep in mind that our money , things , and homes do not define
us . We are created in the image of God our
creator . We are given Inalienable rights no liens on our life . No one can own us !!!
When we die God will judge the unbeliever
and we will have everlasting life because we
believed in Jesus Christ , his death on the cross , his resurrection , and his ascension into
heaven . This is the Devine Love , that he lay
his life down for us because he loved us and
he made a way to save us from judgement .
The gift of salvation . Keep this in your heart
and do not get bogged down with young adult
agenda that tells you what success is . Simple
advise from an older senior citizen .

Thanks dearest Becky. Although I don’t think I am all that much younger “if.” That picture in my profile is an attitude…but unfortunately its not me. Becky, I appreciate all your encouragement. And thanks for turning me on to that series. I would not never known. I have a question. One of the difficulties in understanding how God did bless America is something I have struggled with for years. Perhaps from your professor or your own education, how is it that God would bless a “revolt?”

My understanding is that the USA dishonored the king of England. I suspect there was a breach in contract with the settlements. But how would revolting against a nation to start your own country not be rebellion? Thanks and blessings. :slight_smile:

and George Washington wrote a letter regarding freedom of jewish religion and all the rights granted in accordance of the first amendment .

the President visited Newport in August of 1790 to address him separately. The remaining congregations in New York, Richmond, Philadelphia and Charleston prepared a joint letter that was not sent until December, 1790.

Washington’s response to the Newport group’s address, the Letter to the Hebrew Congregation of Newport, Rhode Island, was sent August 21, 1790. As in other letters to Jewish congregations, the President explicitly acknowledges Jewish participation in the new nation. However, the Newport letter stands out for its clear and unequivocal language. Washington writes, “May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants.” He goes on to oppose the mere “toleration” of religious differences and instead emphasizes religious liberty in “the exercise of inherent natural rights,” echoing the Declaration of Independence .

America acknowledged the blessing we
were getting by the jewish participation in
our nation . "
