🦊 Let's Go Home!

I sure hope this year is short for the Believing Christian. I want to go home.

Yes, I may seem selfish by that statement and sentiment, and don’t think for a minute that I don’t mourn the lost in my reach who will not listen.

I’ve been in a lull as of late, a “holding pattern” as another put it elsewhere. To some it seems like indifference, and you would be right if you mean to the world and it’s drama and machinations.

I am not however, indifferent to people. I will choose my battles though.

This is very much different from Depression (which I have dealt with myself several times in my life).

I’m weary. Twilight is upon me, and darkness is falling. But I am oh-so ready.

Here I think of the Jewish consideration of dusk when three naked-eye stars appear to signal it’s start. And what is it called?

Twinkling of an eye

How is that for encouragement?

Hope has a name. His name is Jesus. The Rapture truly is coming. Keep your hope ablaze, because we fly soon. Maranatha.

When people come in to see someone to talk about their problems, the main thing they need to leave with is:
H-O-P-E.

Many people in this current time are losing hope - losing hope that their marriage will ever get better, losing hope that they will ever feel better physically or emotionally, losing hope that they will ever conquer their addiction to drugs or alcohol or pornography or food, losing hope that they will ever find their soul mate, losing hope that their disastrous circumstances will ever get better, losing hope that their loved one will ever turn to Christ. Losing hope, losing hope, losing hope.

How many of YOU are losing hope somewhere today? Have you thrown in the towel in an area of your life because the circumstances say NO WAY?

I’ve come to learn that when my circumstances are saying NO WAY! The God of Heaven’s Armies is saying YES WAY! I’ve learned to do it YAH’S WAY! Glory to God.

THE GOD OF HOPE

I love the fact that God describes Himself in the Bible as THE GOD OF HOPE -

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit”
(Rom. 15:13).

No matter how bad the marriage, the diagnosis, the sin, the circumstances,
GOD IS ABLE!

We can have hope because there is nothing too difficult for God. And the greater the problem is, the greater the miracle that can possibly take place.

WE CAN TAKE IT FROM THE STORY OF LAZARUS

Lazarus was very sick, and Jesus was not around to heal him. That was a problem. Lazarus then took a turn for the worse and died. That was an even bigger problem.
They buried Lazarus and he was in the tomb for four days. That was a HUGE problem, an unsolvable problem, an impossible problem.

If you know the story from John 11, you know that Jesus did the impossible. He spoke a word and raised four-day-old dead Lazarus from the grave. WOW!!

What does that story teach us? It teaches us that He is able! No matter what the issue, He is able. Is there anything in your life more hopeless than the situation with Lazarus? And if He can do a miracle for Lazarus, He can do a miracle for you.

WHAT WE CAN DO TODAY

David said, “But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise you yet more and more”
(Ps. 71:14).

Guys, I try to do the same.

I try to take that hopeless situation to THE GOD OF HOPE. And Place that giant-sized problem I have next to the God who is SO GIANT, He measures the universe by the span of His hand.

Guys, the universe is an estimated 14 billion light years, and one light year is 5.7 trillion miles (you do the math). God measures it all with his outstretched hand. He is ALMIGHTY GOD!!!

I always try my best to remember, to Start praising God for the answer in advance and keep praising Him until the answer comes.

Our God is the God of hope, and nothing is too difficult for Him

(Jeremiah 32:27).
““Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”

Guys, I realize everything doesn’t always end the way you were hoping for. I prayed my dad would live, yet he died. As long as I have breath, I will try my best, to be my best for Christ, and never quit hoping in Him.

I decided a long time ago, that I would begin looking at all setbacks in life, with the attitude, that will turn into a divine setup.

I will keep believing that God has all things working together that will work out for my good.

“Beulah Land”

Beulah Land, I’m longing for you
And some day on thee I’ll stand
Where my home shall be eternal
Beulah Land - Sweet Beulah Land

I’m kind of homesick for a country
Where I’ve I’ve never been before
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken
For time won’t matter anymore

Beulah Land, I’m longing for you
And some day on thee I’ll stand
Where my home shall be eternal
Beulah Land - Sweet Beulah Land

I’m looking now across the river

Where my faith will end in sight
There’s just a few more days to labor
Then I’ll take my heavenly flight

2X
Beulah Land, I’m longing for you
And some day on thee I’ll stand
Where my home shall be eternal
Beulah Land - Sweet Beulah Land

1X
Where my home shall be eternal
Beulah Land - Sweet Beulah Land

Isaiah 62:4 — BEULAH VERSE
“You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah,
(Heff-zuh-bah) or (My Delight)
and your land
Beulah; or (Married)
For the Lord delights in you, And your land shall be married.”

“You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.”

This verse does not say that Israel will ever be officially called “Beulah” or “Beulah Land” but that Israel will once again be attended to by the Lord as a husband would attend to his beloved bride.

The point is in the meaning of the word. Rather than be considered forsaken by the Lord, God’s people will be restored to a close, loving relationship with Him, and all they need will be provided.

Many Christians refer to Beulah Land as Heaven.

Guys, One day extremely soon, the Lord is going to make up all things to us, and prove it when He wipes all our tears away. And that will be for all eternity. Forever and forever. We love you Guys.

My wife and I both have plans of seeing each of you in the clouds at any second.

Maranatha.

Top Section: Daily devotional - Psalm 27 - a few days before my mum was reconciled to eternity in the paradise of Christ.

The footnote prayer reads: Father, You’re my delight and joy. I long to worship you without distraction or interruption, against which mum wrote “AMEN”.

Bottom Section: Revelation 22 as annotated in my mum’s bible, and it seems recently because the ink isn’t faded.

“I LONG TO SEE HIS FACE”

Amen and Maranatha.

On the very morrow I shall rent a Bi-plane and tow a banner with this prayer all about the plains of America. Or as far as $37.96 will take it.

I feel so much the same. I am so exhausted. I find it so hard to do anything except what I HAVE to do. Everyone around me is living in a different world. Like they thing things are going g to be better or they have somehow settled into this new ‘normal’. Not me, I grow more disconnected from this place. I long for Jesus! I feel ashamed though because I am depressed. I just feel like everyday is so very hard to get through. I am very alone. I do have hope! Soon and very soon!

this is the heart of each one of us! We are ready to go. A friend’s husband told me today his bags are packed and he is ready. I told him he doesn’t need any bags. This world no longer holds anything to hold us here. Our hearts and eyes are on Jesus. We are looking upward, longing to see Him burst through the clouds and summon us up there.

Lord, we want to come Home to be with You. Maranatha, please Lord.

I understand you soooo good and I am sooo ready to go! Some days are better than others but sometimes I am weary and tired and dont have any strength left. Sometimes I sleep not very good and get frustrated out of bed till I get tired and can sleep. But then its daytime and I sleep during the day and cannot finish anything I wanted to finish.

I believe that we will get raptured soon. But this is not a prophety, its my hope and I am watching the signs on earth what happens in the world very close. But its also important for me not to set any dates (was never a date setter) because then I could get sad if the date passes by. I just have the feeling that soon we will fly. But when this soon happens, I dont know.

I will pray that Jesus will guide us through (he does that anyway, I just mean that I wont lose faith and hope) and gives us strenght to endure what might comes for us.

I want to go home.

My dear one, your post echoes in my heart :heartpulse:.

Tonight, as I was gazing up at the stars above, as I usually love to do…I felt something. The sky was dark, clear and the stars were a blanket across the sky. There were SO MANY…so bright white…and twinkling :stars:. It just made such a visual impact upon me. I’m literally looking up and it’s not lost on me that I’m “looking up” :raised_hands:. I can still feel that childlike wonderment at such a sight. That moment was in harsh contrast to what is happening around us, yet I felt comfort. The Great I Am who hung the moon and the stars is coming for me…you…and all His children. What a blessed assurance to hold on to.

I love your post! Is. 52:7 "How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,

Daniel 12:2-3

And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt.

Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.

Agree…so ready. I am doing what God is asking me to do but I get so discouraged by those who don’t care, don’t want truth, etc. Had a thought as i woke up because all this bothers me so much, that we are almost in exact times of Noah. There are a few left who will receive and once we get them on the ark of Christ we are outta here. Keep sharing truth. In my case my in-laws in terrible health, hopeless but wont respond to Gospel. See others I know v-ing their 4 year old kids. Cuts my heart they would gladly genetically experiment on their own kids when my son died of rare genetic disease. Just so :pensive: sad.

I hear you! I get overwhelmed due to so closely following current events and the geopolitical analysis of it all, so I think for my own mental health I need to back off a bit. I am fascinated and excited by it all (seeing the pieces of the puzzle all coming together) one minute, then overwhelmed by it all because my loved ones won’t listen to me!

This is such a hard time to live. I love this scripture though: Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
