Scrolling through the list of threads, I found this one again and I just had to post.
“Do I really haaaaaave to encourage one another like never before?”
Oh, alright. Fiiiiiiiiine
Oh, uh, I mean
These are great.
Time to also revive this one as well…
I know I’m a bit late to this party, but the sermon at church last Sunday was on this topic exactly, and the same verse used.
Love all of those, but I think the last one is my favorite.
Me too!! I agree.
Lovely!! I love this.
@Lya - Armor up, right?!
A bit more about the hymn: ‘ “Onward, Christian Soldiers” is a hymn from the 19th century that remains popular today. The hymn’s theme is taken from references in the New Testament to the Christian being a soldier for Christ, for example, 2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV): “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” It was written to encourage Christians in their ongoing battles with temptations within themselves and the evil forces throughout the world.’
Make Me A Blessing
We sing if often, though in a slightly (but not by much) different key. Sopranos, it’s definitely for us, up there in the rafters! I love it. We CAN be a blessing, even in the slightest of ways.
It’s been my earworm, today.
