You might just kick a hornetās nest with your āimperfectā flag. The holiday that brings the high emotions out of us, whether itās the āproud to be an Americanā or the āI hate America / the flagā, is a strong one. The political atmosphere leading up to November might have people coming to your display, as well.
I will pray that you and your family will have a hedge of protection around you all. In these very last days, with most peopleās attention ran by emotion or visual stimulation, a flag like this one is more apt to catch their attention than the proper one.
If I may make a suggestion. On regular paper, I would have this verse (2 Chronicles 7:14) printed out along with any others that you think will make your point, as a quick reference guide, that you can talk with them about, and they can take with them. Godās word does not return void, so even if they get mad - they still heard it. Those standing off aways will hear the Word, too.
Music is powerful. Perhaps, a Bluetooth speaker that will play out your chosen songs and hymnals?
This has the makings of a powerful opportunity.
Duet. 31:6 YLT, 6 ābe strong and courageous, fear not, nor be terrified because of them, for Jehovah thy God [is] He who is going with thee; He doth not fail thee nor forsake thee.ā
Isaiah 41:10 āBe not afraid, for with thee I [am], Look not around, for I [am] thy God, I have strengthened thee, Yea, I have helped thee, yea, I upheld thee, With the right hand of My righteousness.ā
Godās beam of promise has 7 bands of color (number of completion). The imitatorās has 6 colors (number of man). The color indigo is missing in the imitatorās flag. It represents the divine nature of God and heavenly grace. We can see why indigo is missing. A tidbit of trivia ā¦ the sun is on one side of the world and the rain induced bow is on the other. We can only see it when the sunās light shines on it.
National Geographicās description: The appearance of a rainbow depends on where youāre standing and where the sun (or other source of light) is shining. The sun or other source of light is usually behind the person seeing the rainbow. In fact, the center of a primary rainbow is the antisolar point, the imaginary point exactly opposite the sun."
Isaiah 52:12 YLT, āFor not in haste do ye go out, Yea, with flight ye go not on, For going before you [is] Jehovah, And gathering you [is] the God of Israel!ā
He has our back. Like the sun that shows us Godās promise with a rainbow, so to does God the Son shine from behind us shining His light on His promises to His servants.
