I fall to the side that agrees with this take on the scriptures. The thing is this is not addressed as completely until you get to the lower part of the article.

They never have, so this seems to point more specifically and instantaneously according to the words used so not over a long time.
I have always pointed to the fact that the Leaders of Israel would sell them out but making a covenant. And I always got pushback as if I was not supporting Israel.
I find this exciting information and confirms things by making more sense of some things that are more confusion to me anyway.
