@Blessed Below is my explanation from a previous post on why I chose to see Jesus Revolution followed by a very thorough review from Pluggedin. Theirs are very detailed “spoiler alert” type reviews so you can get a fairly good gist of the movie itself without seeing it.
Otherwise, I will not elaborate further on my personal view here to avoid misunderstanding. Some are looking through a ‘wide lens’ of everything outside of the movie that might be attached, ‘red flags’ for unsuspecting folks who might get drawn into possible deception and warning against it. I have gleaned much knowledge and understanding through links shared here. However, in my circumstance–for me personally, no endorsement here–I was looking through a ‘narrow lens’–strictly at the movie itself–for a fair representation of the event and what life was like for youth (and the church) during that time.
