One thing imo that is being misunderstood is that participating in say the Asbury Revival, going to see the Jesus Revolution, engaging in so called Christian yoga, taking the enneagram and so is ,
Is not an indicator if someone is saved or not saved. Nor is anyone questioning the other’s salvation or heart and it’s sincerity.
Based on scripture, if people partaking of those things has believed on the Lord Jesus Christ
(I Corinthians 15:1-5 ) then they are saved.
However, in scriptures, we are told to expose falseness, to study to show ourselves approved and to also work out our salvation.
Those pointing out what are appearing as red flags is an attempt to only warn fellow believers because of these days we’re living in. We know deception has amped up , we know Jesus warned about it and we know it’s going to increase not only in the quantity of deception but also that more things will fall prey to being infiltrated by deception.
We’re all sharing our views and insights and both sides are responsible to heed or not heed what each side presents.
It’s not a secret that Romans 1 is coming to fruition or that deception is lurking all around even now in places we’d not readily expect.
Our warnings are in love for our brothers and sisters in Christ to be in guard for it, to not become a victim of it and to not respond known truths with it.
