Garden/House Flags That Speak

That’s awesome! To God be the glory!

I’ve sent in some applications to set up at a couple of local farmers markets that feature some crafts. Please pray that I can get in. They’re not responding. I’m not making a profit. Actually taking a loss but am being pushed by this little voice to get them flying!

Tony, count it done!
A suggestion that is free to you is to take pictures of your flags, that you have supply of, and make a collage photo that you could have reprinted. Businesses sometimes have bulletin boards where people can advertise things for sale or services that they are offering that are free to use. Pin your collage to these boards.

I happen to live on a road where more than 70,000 cars passed by every day. :grinning:

Blessings

Do you have some for sale?!? I want! Let me know how to get, PLEASE.

EDIT: You might think of churches/fundraisers or just churches.

Maybe you can add cold lemonade and bakery goodies to sell along with your flags

We set up at a small local outdoor market yesterday morning on the first day of spring. Not many people. It was so cold though….and a Tuesday, which probably isn’t the best day for a farmers market to begin with. But I’ve signed up for larger markets throughout the rest of the year, at least one a month, so as my wife says, “this is practice.” I was still discouraged and didn’t even unpack the van when we got home. I just sulked for a few hours and asked God why. “Why are you authoring this directive in my heart to do this?” Anyone who’s ever said anything about them has absolutely loved them. But I suffer a certain level of humiliation when they don’t want to take one home and fly it.

But once I recalibrate my thinking and regain a flow of logic, it occurs to me that while
most people don’t even see the need for any kind of garden art, many believers are too timid to hang one. The topic of most of them are in-your-face glorifying God. As for the non-believers, once they get a glimpse of what the flags say, they stop in their tracks and veer completely away as if they don’t even want to see it in their peripheral. It reminded me of when I wasn’t surrendered to The Lord and I would do everything I could NOT to hear the Word or even go in to a church. They’re afraid of God.

So when I’m out there with the rest of the peddlers selling local honey, woodcrafted pepper grinders and homemade salsa, I’m actually witnessing to everyone, whether they buy one and take it home or not.

Still doing the local outdoor markets. No help from the rain though :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. But I’ve noticed some dudes seem really interested in the design and the message but just don’t do garden flags. So I woke up this morning and thought about how people express the things that they geek out over in this day and age. How do they “fly their flags?”

Stickers!! Stickers on cups. Stickers on laptops.
Stickers. Stickers. Stickers.

So I’m going to venture in that direction. I don’t make money in this. But I am, through this smidgen of God given ingenuity, able to point people to Him. Hallelujah.

At the last market we went to a woman was there with a non profit children’s organization. She said she was just there for awareness. Without a second thought I said “yeah, me too!”
:bulb:It dawned on me then that that’s really what we’re all doing. Maintaining awareness of our Lord is really what it’s all about. The Holy Spirit does all the rest. Am I right???

These are great! :grinning::heart: Nice work! You have “Light of the World” already, maybe do the rest of John’s “I AM” statements?
