May 9 2021: Bible Prophecy Update

Thanks Caryl for your reply. I came out of some church background that I believe had some unhealthy placements upon obeying those over you. There were some very creative things as well from that church. But still, I come from a sense that in general authoritarianism within the church is on the rise. And it is not healthy.

A LITTLE BACKDROP ON ME
The way America is going, I’d vote yes if it were an option for a civil war. I believe that God used America to lead the world away from the era of Kings and Queens and into democracy. I believe God has used America for great evangelism. I believe our elections were stolen but that much of the church is concerned with a sense of Trump worship and feels its better for the church not to have Trump and believe that America is better off going into socialism than the church look to a man for national salvation. I believe that is a wrong view.

I think the modern church had never seen what government in America could look like until Trump. And that the American church got genuinely excited about the prospect. Sure there are some fringe groups that lean toward Trump worship or dominionism and have no concept of a potentially soon coming tribulation. But America was set for success and a constitution that honors humane dignity. I believe the intimidation of our church turning to a man for temporal success became too much for it to bear and in some places not see so clearly in light of that intimidation. And in that, consigned in part to perceiving along with CNN that a stolen election theory is the big lie. In that view their is prospecting that Trump may indeed be the antichrist or a Luciferian Light bearing leader of our age.

I don’t subscribe to the Trump as Luciferian Light theory. But I do empathize that overtures towards human rights are at a strange fever pitch that can tend to overshadow biblical principles and clarity in practice thereof. I see lines blurring. It is certainly a complicated time we live in. Amen.

MY PROPHETIC LEANING
I am a cessationist and don’t believe in modern day prophets. So this is just from my own research and leanings. I believe the likelihood of America overthrowing the Biden regime is extremely high. I believe it is highly likely that we will find massive voter fraud. And I believe Trump will make his way back into office, whether through a recount or via 2024 elections. I also suspect that 2024 is an excellent year for a tribulation to take off. In that respect I have a unique view on the Rev 6:2 first seal. I believe it may not be antichrist (nor certainly not Christ either) but a kick off point of shock and awe victory of America and the USA constitution. And the judgement therein upon the globalists and evil government players. I believe this to possibly ripple effect out throughout the world and a collapse of central banking throughout the globe. I perceive the 1st seal of Rev 6:2 as a mercy judgement but short lived. I think this is important to point out so that you know how I am thinking as I touch on the reason i am replying to you.

MY CONCERN
I do have a concern though. In some ways, if Trump is the first seal judgement it could be quite a test for the church. And some of that may include an increasing attitude in the flesh. I am pretrib rapture, but I believe the church “may” be here for this event. So when I see Pastor JD concerned with a church becoming a bit more fleshy…I think there is some merit to his concern. And in ways I concur. In some ways, I think what Pastor JD might feel a need to do is counter some fleshy leanings of the church…and perhaps overcompensate a bit. I don’t agree with overcompensation, but I understand his concern for it.

I would like you to check out a video if and when you might have time. You can play it on 1.5 speed or 1.75 to shorten it. It is just over an hour long. But I think it gets at the heart of where i am coming from. On Point Preparedness leans toward a Trump as antichrist perspective, which I don’t agree with. Another thing I don’t agree with is that we have to choose between a godly reason and a fleshy reason. For example, I think as citizens we can protest, and we can hold government accountable (the New Testament was written during tyrannical times–how believers are to act in a democracy can be a bit fogged up from clarity on what to be like). I believe On Point Preparedness can stray a little too much into the theological weeds in how it looks upon the events of today. But this video is seemingly well trimmed of most of that (except where I have already stated differences I have with that ministry) and is really worth hearing out. I think what is stated in this video helps believers understand a deafening tide coming upon the church. But like I said, I believe Trump stands a pretty good chance of becoming the 1st seal. So in a way…our high fever might not just be us. The world has never met a seal of God before (if in fact it indeed might be).

Well I hope you may take the time to check this video out Caryl. I think this might also come in handy with a conversation on this front I have been having with another member, @CLE

Blessings.
