My original question was, where in the Bible does it say that there will be extreme persecution right before the Rapture? I am aware that persecution has occurred throughout the church age. It is not outside the realm of possibility. But the Bible does not say that it will ramp up right before the Rapture.
My own pastor keeps bringing up the horrible persecution of the church during the Roman era. He keeps hammering away on bloody stories. I am a history buff. The reality is that a few thousand Christians were fed to the lions in the arena and tortured in other ways. It was terrible, to be sure, but it was a few thousand, not ALL of them!
I’m not saying there will not be persecution, that is what the Bible says will happen throughout the church age. I’m just saying that the Bible doesn’t predict that it will happen right before the Rapture.

That was an excellent video with Sam Sorbo and Del Bigtree, on the benefits of homeschooling. I am homeschooling my son this year for the first time, after I got completely fed up with masks, gender bending, and the other covid BS. To have so many people encouraging homeschooling and making resources available has been a huge help and support for me. I had a lot of anxiety and second guessed myself, as I made the decision. But it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He loves it. We were blessed to be able to get into an actual homeschool hybrid, where he attends school 2 days/ week and is home 3 days.

Few minutes ago, some staff from Health Ministry walking door to door asking who has been jabbed. Thanks be to God, my mum refused their call outside our house gate. They are “surveying” just like these guys in the video.
